30. The Sanctuary (Exodus 25: 8 - 9)
God is the God of the whole universe. Yet He asked the people of Israel to build a sanctuary so that He might dwell in their midst. God could be anywhere anytime. Why did He need a sanctuary that was built by men's hands? God created the Garden of Eden so that He could be with them. Yet it didn't work out well because Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit. How could this time be different, especially by dealing with a mass population of the Israelites? How could we understand further about God's intention?
